Welcome to my vacation in Hades

Well Duane said I couldn't put Hell, so I chose Hades. Finally a free internet connection and a moment to write. Duane tends to hog the computer.

We are in Munich now. We have been through Amsterdam, Brussels, Lausanne, Lauterbrunnen, Lucerne, Zurich, and Fussen. I will have many stories to tell.

The blankets did get all sewn and everything else I had to do. The dogs were doing fine the last time we checked and the kitties too.

My bed at home is calling me. One of the stories is that Duane's mom brought cold germ with her, got sick, and also got me sick. I am a little more tired than I would be normally.

We are off to the beer gardens today, so that should be fun!

This sucks

Our laptop is off for repair and hopefully we will hear something about it today. The desktop at home is suffering from some ailment, so it takes forever to do anything!

Good news, it is only going to cost $400 to fix my car instead of a ton more.

More good news, my mom had total knee surgery yesterday and it went well.

Bad news, I was working on some baby quilts and my machine is now f'd up.

Good news, the animals will all be taken care of while we are gone....BUT someone else who was supposed to watch one of the dogs for the whole time we are gone, bailed for part of the time and Brisco has to go to the kennel.

We are trying to get everything in place for our trip. We will be taking a laptop so I hope to post great pictures while we are traveling.
